Who are we?
Pack 235 is located in East Dayton Ohio in the Linden Heights area. We are a relatively small pack, but are very active and have a lot of fun learning year-round. We have found Scouting is a valuable way for you, your son, and your family to share great time together with other families. Pack 235 is lucky to have great scouts and great parents, which results in a lot of fun at every event!

 When do we meet?
We meet together as a Pack on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
Additional activities take place on a varying schedule.

Where do we meet?
We meet at St. Anthony Elementary at 6:30pm.
620 Bowen St.; Dayton, OH 45410.

Feel free to drop in any time to visit our Pack!

How much does it cost?
The annual Pack 235 dues are $40. This covers such items as the National registration fee and handbook appropriate for your son's rank, the raingutter regatta and pinewood derby kits, and all patches and awards for the year.  Any extra money is used for crafts.

Other costs include the uniforms and some activity fees including those for the Day Camp and Resident Camps. Youth members participate in the popcorn sale and other fundraisers as determined, which helps to cover Den supplies, equipment, and other activities.

What about uniforms?
You can purchase uniforms at
Miami Valley Scout Shop.
6550 Poe Avenue, P.O. Box 13057
Dayton, Ohio 45413
Look for the Electrician's Union Building

The suggested uniform items to puchase are a shirt (start as large as you can and get short sleeves to get the most use out of it), the numerals (2, 3, 5), the district patch (Wright Brothers), belt (they are the right size for beltloops the boys earn), neckerchief and slide, and the world crest emblem.

A Scout uniform can get pricey. They are not required to participate, but are strongly encouraged to build the team spirit. I would recommend at a minimum the neckerchief and slide. They can be worn with a simple school uniform.

What do I need to do?
1) Come to a meeting
2) Register
3) Prepare to be involved at meetings

Cub Scouts is a family oriented activity, siblings are always welcome!  Parents are asked to participate in meetings helping control and teach the boys whenever possible.
